At Wheelhouse Creative, it’s all about the client. Everything we do here is rooted in making our client happy and portraying them in the best light. In order to please the client, we must first get to know a bit about them and their organization so as to determine which of our many ideas will work best.
I recently had a wonderful experience in getting to know one of the accounts that I manage. At the suggestion of Don Feenerty, I reached out to said client and inquired about some personal photos for use on their social media account. I was unsure at first about how he would respond seeing as I was soliciting photos that he never offered to share with us before. It was a mere 5-10 minutes after my request that I received a response back from my client.
Not only did I receive one picture, oh no, I received over 20! What’s more, my client warmly recollected the trip from which the photos were taken with a pride and elation that I could sense even over email. It was fantastic. We had multiple exchanges throughout the morning about the photos and the social media post, thoughtfully tailoring the message to exactly what he wanted to convey. When it was all said and done, my client received more positive attention and feedback on that post than he had on anything we’d put out for him up to that point. And to think I almost didn’t heed my colleague’s suggestion…
The point I’m trying to make is that it’s crucial to really get to know your client inside and out and as much as humanly possible. At Wheelhouse, it’s second nature to us and really sets us apart from others in our field. We want to know about our client and their families and their pets and who they root for on the weekends (granted they are willing to share this with us). It allows us to do so much more and go so much further than just mainstream advertising and marketing.
We’re more than just a voice on the phone or an address in the sender field of an email. We’re Wheelhouse Creative, your advertising agency, and we care about you more than you realize. Thanks for letting us get to know you!
